Interviewing Immortality

What if the price of immortality was too high? What if you had no choice?Portland-based James Kimble is the definition of "pretty normal" - working at a big box store, recovering from a recent divorce and trying to enjoy his modest success as a novelist. But after a small-town book signing in Sandy, Oregon, he is randomly pulled into the bizarre world of a woman who called herself Grace. While interviewing this remarkably long-lived woman, he finds he must confront his own personal pain threshold as well as the skeletons in his closet.Held hostage in a cabin in the woods, Kimble's baseline of existence is forcibly redefined and he discovers how hard it is to look in the mirror and how easy it is to compromise when your own life is on the line.A dramatic first-person psychological thriller, Interviewing Immortality weaves a tale of intrigue, suspense, and self-confrontation. It's the first book in Bill Conrad's ongoing series, with Finding Immortality in publication and Saving Immortality forthcoming.
