Interaction tangible et collaborative: A Case Study The TangiSense Table

To provide the reader with an overview of a tangible interface illustrated by a concrete example: from design to ergonomic evaluation, including the principles of implementation. Readers-whether students or industry professionals-will find in this book both the theoretical and practical aspects of implementing tangible interfaces, as well as their potential areas of application, which represent new and growing alternatives to all-touch interfaces. The book demonstrates how "contactless" technology, combined with "multi-agent" technology, opens up an interesting and promising field for consumer and professional applications. Indeed, we all have a history with everyday objects; we recognize them, and we implicitly know how to use them. It is this familiarity that we must recapture in our interaction with the digital world around us, by suggesting that we abandon mice, icons, windows, and other virtual elements to rediscover physical contact with everyday objects and tools.
