What follows are my journal entries from June 29, 1996 until September 21, 1997. The book is a gift from a lost love. What is reprinted here is 90% of the things I wrote in my journal. The task is for me to see how the journal writing lead to poems. See how the scribblings lead to ideas which lead to themes which become poems. I was told early in my career to write every day, no matter what it is just write. I have done so through 8 volumes now, this is volume 4. The italicized words are my thoughts and not poems.
