Influence of Welding parameters on the mechanical and microstructural: properties steel joints.Correlation Between Conditions Joint Integrity

Professor Rassim Younes is a leading academic in mechanical engineering and materials science at the Laboratory of Mechanics, Materials & Energy (L2ME), Abderrahmane Mira University, Béjaïa. He earned his PhD on January 26, 2016, with a thesis on the mechanical and microstructural behavior of ceramic coatings produced by thermal spraying, establishing his expertise in surface engineering and microstructural characterization.His research spans ceramic coatings (Al¿O¿-TiO¿), metallic alloys (NiWCrBSi, Fe-Ni-Al), and welded steel joints (E334, 18-8 stainless steel, S460N), with a strong focus on severe service conditions. He also works on thermomechanical numerical simulation, linking experimental analysis with predictive modeling of material behavior.Professor Younes has authored numerous international publications and reference books, including Physical and Mechanical Properties of Ceramics and Their Tribological Behavior (2024) and Thermal Projection: The Behavior of Stainless Steel (2023). He is actively involved in supervising Master's and PhD students, contributing to the development of scientific research in Algeria.
