The Cassia grandis tree is widely known in various tropical regions and valued for its uses as an ornamental plant-as it is used in communities to beautify public spaces-for medicinal purposes-due to its use in treatments to improve human health and well-being-and for forestry, including ecological soil restoration and the industrial use of its wood. However, the true potential of this species remains largely unexplored, particularly its comprehensive utilization, which would allow for the simultaneous use of its wood, fruits, pulp, and seeds as sources of raw materials for various production chains. This work, titled "Industrial Potential of Cassia grandis through Comprehensive Utilization for Sustainable Development," arises from the need to generate scientific knowledge that contributes to transforming the traditional view of this species, demonstrating that each of its components possesses chemical and functional characteristics capable of supporting high-value-added industrial applications.
