This paper examines the actual impact of three government support measures on three start-ups, with the aim of reflecting the effectiveness of the support in the development of the start-ups. The approach used for this study lies in the field of traditional industrial economics. Using the market structure-market behaviour-market outcome paradigm, three industrial economic analyses are carried out based on the three examples. The aim of this paper is to get to the bottom of the question of the extent to which market structure influences the market behaviour of a start-up and thus also its market outcomes. In addition, the influence of the support measure on the market results of the selected start-up will be demonstrated. This will allow the causality of the relationships in the SVE paradigm to be examined. These industrial economic analyses will also allow a comparison of the impact of start-up support on the companies and, finally, a comparison of the support measures themselves.
