When cholera crashes through the wagon train Striker lies at death's door, and Tamsyn fears she may lose him forever. Whatever made her think she was meant to be a healer? She doesn't have enough training or experience! Worse still, Charles Colter-the brother of another patient-has begun pressing his suit. Tamsyn tries to discourage him, but his interest only deepens.
