in All These Things - Living His Goodness

Working in four different languages in very different tribal regions, is just a part of Helen Macnaughtan's amazing missionary journey in Papua New Guinea. In this her life story, she takes the reader on her journey from wandering infant to graduation as a nurse in New Zealand, a call to serve in overseas missions, and her experiences in a lifetime devoted to community medical work in some of the remotest locations on earth. All this while raising three children and actively assisting in Bible translation with fellow missionary and husband Ken. The story of their meeting and marrying in PNG is worth the read alone! Given that the places Helen and Ken worked at in PNG had been barely opened up to the outside world, her story takes the reader back to a time which defines living in remote jungle locations. Helen is defined by her compassion and desire to help others in missionary service, or retiring from it. And even in her own retirement, she has actively supported many, many people through her counsel and involvement in developing re-entry resources.
