This book was inspired by my son who was having a hard time coping with me caring for another child. By giving my child something that I thought was special to me for my child to hold and take care of, It gave him the security and reassurance that he needed in knowing that my thoughts are always with him... no matter what I am doing or where I am at. By me taking a moment to stop whatever I was doing to stop and say, " I love you and you mean the world to me." Then giving him "my heart" to have until I could take it back and have our time together seemed to work. I wanted to share this idea as a coping mechanism for children and a helpful tip for parents. As a parent myself, I know every little bit of help.... Helps!
