I Am a Good Friend

Learn what makes a good friend in this silly story about a girl and her disgruntled animal friends, perfect for fans of Peter Brown's You Will Be My Friend! "I am a good friend!” says the girl and she heads outside to play with her buddies—two squirrels, a snail, and three crows. It’s a fun-filled day of games, picnicking, and storytelling, but is everyone having a good time? An unexpected turn of events suddenly challenges the girl to question if she’s treating her friends the way they want to be treated. This funny and relatable picture book about growth mindset not only conveys the importance of being considerate and understanding of others' needs but also provides innumerable laughs with its depictions of a sweet, well-meaning little girl who loves her animal friends maybe a little too overzealously.
