Home Made: Projects for Nature Kids

Home Made: Projects for Nature Kids is a collection of 30 creative, nature-inspired activities for babies and young children-designed to bring more nature, imagination, and artful play into your home.Created by artist and mother Rachel Sierra, Home Made weaves a reverence for the earth, art, music, movement, and imagination into the everyday rhythms of childhood.Teaching children to care for this wonderful, wild earth starts with falling in love with it. Working with organic materials and things you already have encourages a slower, more sustainable way of making-one that follows the natural rhythms of the earth. While we wish we could spend all day outside, learning to spend more grounding, creative time at home matters, too. Here are small ways to bring a little more of the outside into your home.Inspired by the earth, made for kids.Use what you have.Take your time.Make it your own.
