Home Economics

Home economics is the study of homemaking and the relation of the home to the community. It is also known as family and consumer sciences. It is the profession and field of study that deals with the economics and management of the home and community. Home economists will have to reach out to donors and implementers of development projects to convince them of the contribution that home economics can make to people-centered development. No matter how much money you make, you can and should save some of it for a rainy day and to invest. Home economists are concerned with promoting and protecting the well-being of individuals, families, and communities; they facilitate the development of attributes for lifelong learning for paid, unpaid, and voluntary work.
