Hollow Ones of the Hallowed Son

Hollow Ones of the Hallowed Son draws from film, poetry, art, games, music, and television to connect deeply relatable human experiences with biblical truth. Through these stories and cultural touch points, the book thoughtfully explores both the ache of feeling hollow and the hope found in Christ."Be safe, friend. Don't you dare go hollow." Laurentius from Dark Souls isn't the first to give such a warning. The Apostle Paul writes in his letter to the church in Ephesus a similar warning: "Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you" (Ephesians 5:14, ESV).While we might not wither to the extent seen in fantasy, our minds may weaken during seasons of psychological and spiritual "hollowing." In fact, we might feel further removed from what it truly means to be human. Hollow Ones of the Hallowed Son explores this journey from hollowness to full freedom in Christ.
