High Season: 2

The Brantham Caldermere has hosted important people, elaborate weddings and professional athletes before. It has never been asked to manage all three in the same weekend. The Crownspur Circle is arriving by private train, bringing a formal banquet for two hundred sixteen and a guest list that keeps changing. The Halberg wedding expects the same ballroom to be transformed so completely that nobody would guess another event had occupied it the night before. Meanwhile, the Anchorage Frosthawks require a private guest floor, protected rest hours and substantially more food than originally ordered. All three groups expect perfection.Behind the scenes, the room assignments will not stay put, the service elevator has become unreliable and every solution appears to create work for another department. Tessa Rowan and the rest of the Caldermere staff keep the guests moving, the rooms turning and the ballroom changing around them. Then the hockey fans arrive. And midway through the wedding reception, the bride goes missing.None of this may be permitted to affect the service.High Season returns to the hotel introduced in Welcome to the Brantham, where demanding guests rarely see the chaos-and the staff intend to keep it that way.
