A retrospective study including patients with chronic viral hepatitis B who had undergone liver biopsy.Results: A total of 96 patients with chronic viral hepatitis B investigated by liver biopsy were included, ranging in age from 18 to 61 years, with a mean age of 32.7±10.7 years. Male predominance was noted, with a sex ratio of 1.46. The number of patients with histologically confirmed steatosis was 19, or 27.5% of the general population.
