Heart of Crone

Scout Randall has made it her life's mission to fight the good fight no matter the cost to herself. So, when a new enemy arrives in town with three hellhounds in tow, Scout is ready for the fight. There's just one little problem. The enemy might not be who he seems. Scout has a soft spot for those in need, but this time her determination to win might hurt the people she loves most. Between the current lamia apex trying to find the nexus keys, the incoming lamia apex candidate bearing down on Hawthorne Hollow, and a new threat that defies categorization, Scout has her hands full. She won't turn away from a soul in need, however. Scout carries heavy emotional scars, but what happens if it proves to be the key to keeping everybody safe in the present? She's about to face off with the one thing she never wanted to deal with ... her past. With the big fight around the corner, all that's left is for Scout to assemble her team. That's going to be easier said than done, and somebody is determined to stop her.
