Healing in Resonance

Raising or teaching a child who has experienced abuse or neglect in their early childhood can be a daunting task. Healing in Resonance is based on the latest in neuroscience on how to change the brain. As a result of changing your child's or student's brain, no longer will you be managing behaviors. Instead you will be bringing about sustainable change.Healing in Resonance is written for parents of all types--birth, foster, adoptive, and kinship care. Given that it only takes one caring adult to make a difference in the life of a child, and it does not have to be someone they live with, teachers also benefit from lessons learned from neuroscience. Counselors who are supporting the caregivers in being the calm, regulated adult in charge will benefit from the application of the neuroscience on how to change the brain that has experienced trauma in the early years.
