Handbook by going down to the basics of how the equipment fits into a modern day Hazardous Area by showing easy to understand sketches and drawings throughout with explanations on why and how the equipment works.Modern European and International Regulations and Standards are also explained including properties of gases, vapours, dusts and types of cables and glanding. There are also details of protection systems such as flameproof and intrinsic safety.The author is an Electrical Training Consultant for a Training Company, Humberside Offshore Training Association (H.O.T.A.) based in Hull, in the North East of England.
