Groundwater Vulnerability In Developing Commonwealth Countries

Case studies on the vulnerability of groundwater in selected Commonwealth countries have been carried out as part of a project on Integrated Urban Water Management. These studies provide evidence for the importance of the delineation of wellhead protection areas, the implementation of zoning policies as well as the use of groundwater vulnerability maps in the effective management of groundwater resources and the prevention of contamination.
