Grief Age Love

As we age, the quality of life is often related to how well we can cope with loss. And the losses are many: the death of our loved ones, but also the loss of who we ourselves once were physically, and sometimes in varying degrees, mentally. Adding to this difficult list are the times when a spouse, partner, sibling, or dear friend faces serious illness and health challenges. Those who find themselves in this last chapter of life have a front row seat to mortality and often say they are walking each other home. Along this walk--who better to hear from than the poets.
