Grettle and the Chickens

Meet Grettle, the farm dog with a big heart and a stripe right down the middle of his face!In Grettle and the Chickens, Grettle spends a whole life looking after the hens, chicks, and one very loud rooster. He meets his very first fuzzy chick, leads a parade of chicks around the yard, and naps under a mother hen. He watches eggs hatch, helps the farmer gather eggs, and splashes in the kiddie pool on a hot summer day. He shoos a sneaky fox away from the coop, cheers on a prize-winning hen at the county fair, keeps the chicks safe during a thunderstorm, and digs a hen out of the snow. Last of all, he welcomes a brand-new pup to the farm.Inside you'll find: - 22 original farmyard scenes to color- Big, clear, easy-to-color line art, perfect for young kids- One scene per page with a blank back, so markers won't bleed through- A "This book belongs to" page at the frontA sweet gift for kids who love puppies, chickens, and farm life.Collect the whole series: Grettle and the Cows, Grettle and the Sheep, and Grettle and the Pigs!
