Greater Purpose

In 2018, Damien R. Williams lost his job, his football family, and, when a hidden secret came to light, very nearly his marriage. Within weeks, he was sitting alone in a dark parking lot on a night he never planned to come back from. Then he heard a voice say, "No."Greater Purpose is the raw, unfiltered testimony of a man fighting temptations seen and unseen. He battles pride, the pull of the flesh, and the ways of the world, trying to make God's will his way. This is not the story of a perfect believer. It is the story of a broken vessel God refused to let go.The journey runs from a snowy retreat in Canada to ten-hour days behind the wheel of an Uber, and from prophetic dreams to divine appointments with total strangers. Across eight years, Damien gives up everything he once called security and learns to trust God in the middle of his story. There are seasons of waiting, doubt, and deep depression. There are also moments of restoration, healing prayer, and provision that arrives in the twelfth hour.God told Paul, "My power works best in weakness." This testimony is for anyone walking a similar road: the man hiding a struggle, the believer waiting on a promise, the one wondering whether God is really listening. He is, and He's ordering your footsteps.Look for the footprints in the sand, and discover the greater purpose God has for your life.
