Grace in the Word of God

A collection of scriptureI have come to understand that following Christ is not simply knowing His words. It is allowing His words to examine my own heart.I once thought faith was something we carried because we believed. I now understand it as something that continually asks us to become.To trust when I cannot see.To remain peaceful when the world around me is not.To offer mercy when judgment would be easier.To forgive while still honoring truth.To love without possessing.To be humble enough to know that another person's journey belongs to God.Again and again, I find Christ returning me to the same invitation: Follow Me.Not to follow what others are doing.Not to decide who is worthy.Not to carry another person's path.Perhaps that is where grace begins-not in having mastered the way, but in continuing to turn toward the One who knows it.
