Gotts Street Park - Somewhere Between (CD)

Somewhere Between is the second LP by Leeds-based collective Gotts Street Park, released in 2026 on Play It Again Sam. Conceived as a departure from their earlier work, the album shifts toward a ""folk / Americana-infused rock"" sound, blending the band’s live, analogue-rooted production with a more emotionally direct, songwriter-oriented approach. The record maintains their collaborative ethos, featuring a range of vocal guests while keeping the core trio’s warm, tape-soaked instrumentation at the centre.Across its runtime, Somewhere Between moves through hushed, introspective moods and more expansive, cinematic passages, often pairing delicate guitar figures and vintage keys with subtle rhythmic grooves. The LP feels intentionally spacious and organic, foregrounding texture and atmosphere rather than overt showmanship, which gives the songs a lived-in, late-night quality. As a full-length, it presents Gotts Street Park as a band stepping beyond their soul and beatmaking origins into a broader alternative landscape, while still retaining the intimate, studio-band feel that has defined their identity.
