Gott'im's Monster 1808

What about an 1808 New England Gothic recasting of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein? Gott'im's Monster is roaming the western mountains of Maine. While setting snares in the woods, young Abner Bartlett, sees his former one-room school master sitting dazed against a giant tree, apparently starving, ill. Abner cares for the master and learns that he is running from his own monster clandestinely created in rooms above a funeral parlor in Cambridge Massachusetts.Desperate, the school master tasks Abner to find the monster and destroy it. "Don't let the monster get near Gottheim or it will ravage your village."
