Gosford Park ( Import ),It's November 1932. Gosford Park is the beautiful mansion where Sir William McCordle and his wife, Lady Sylivia, have invited their friends and associates for a hunt. They have summoned all of English society including a countess, a World War I hero, the female idol Ivor Novello, and an American producer who produces Charlie Chan films. While the invitees gather in the swanky salons upstairs, their maids and butlers downstairs bustle in the overcrowded kitchens and hallways. But nothing is as it seems, neither with the bejeweled guests in the dining rooms nor in the workrooms where the servants are showing off. The film is sometimes a comedy, sometimes a mystery, but above all a moving portrait of events that affect generations, classes, sex and tragic personal histories that come together in one murder (or is it two murders?). Gosford Park, eventually revealing the complex relationships between the upper and lower worlds, sheds light on a society that is short-lived
