Deze grijze Goobay CAT 5e-kabel van 3 m is een afgemonteerde netwerkverbinding met RJ45-stekkers en dubbele SF/UTP-afscherming. De twee 8P8C-RJ45-stekkers zijn bedoeld voor het aansluiten van netwerkcomponenten. De kabel ondersteunt Gigabit Ethernet met 10, 100 en 1000 Mbit/s. Aluminiumfolie en een gevlochten aluminium afscherming vormen samen de totale SF/UTP-afscherming. Deze beschermt de verbinding tegen externe storingsbronnen. De getwiste binnenaders zijn van met koper bekleed aluminium, ofwel CCA, en hebben uitvoering AWG 26/7. De paarvolgorde volgt EIA/TIA 568B; de contactoppervlakken zijn verguld. De ronde PVC-kabelmantel heeft een diameter van ongeveer 5,5 mm. Bij het leggen geldt de opgegeven buigradius van meer dan 44,8 mm.
