Muka lives a subdued, ordinary life in Lakota City, 2071. At only 26, the red-haired woman has no memory of her past. Aside from a mysterious scar on her chest, and a brand mark on her hip of IMA - the name of the government system of her world - there are no other clues. On the day of her birthday though, Muka's past catches up to her in a big way. Her hope of remaining normal is shattered and she discovers that she may not even be human. The ghosts from her past and the monsters from within step into the light and she is thrown into a journey for the truth.
