Going Deeper: Intimacy With Jesus

Going Deeper: Intimacy With Jesus is Book 2 in the Pearls for the Journey series. There comes a place in the walk of faith where the Lord begins to invite us beyond simply knowing about Him and into a deeper life with Him. Not deeper in the sense of being complicated, but deeper in the sense of being formed, settled, led, and loved by Jesus in the hidden places of the heart. This book is written for the believer who longs to walk more closely with the Lord, but also knows what it feels like to wrestle with weakness, questions, waiting, surrender, and the daily need for grace. Each pearl is a devotional reflection meant to come alongside you like a fellow traveler - opening Scripture, listening for the Lord's voice, and learning to trust Him one step at a time.Going Deeper is not a call to strive harder. It is an invitation to remain nearer.Through these pages, you will be encouraged to bring your whole heart before Jesus, to let His Word search and steady you, and to discover again that intimacy with Him is not reserved for the strong, the polished, or the already-finished. It is offered to those who are willing to come close, listen honestly, and keep walking with Him.If Book 1 was about walking with Jesus, Book 2 is about learning to stay near enough to be formed by Him.The journey continues - not by rushing ahead, but by going deeper with the One who has been faithful all along.
