God's Little Secret

God's Little Secret is an intriguing book. The author astutely recognizes the declining influence of organized religion in highly educated societies for the developing crisis that it is. Beyond recognizing the trend, he proposes a solution based in science that, he asserts, ties human aspiration to the evolving purposes of the universe. In short, he gives those who can no longer believe in religion something to strive for and aspire to beyond simple survival and addition to the human gene pool. For those willing to consider new ideas, God's Little Secret should provide interesting fodder for further consideration and reflection. Most interesting of all is that at the end of the day, the author decisively finds a place for God in the cosmos... though not the figure that most readers will intuitively identify by that label. Who, exactly, is this God the author describes? That, dear reader, is God's Little Secret.
