Girl on Fire

I was the love of his life. Now, I'm the end of it.I used to be ordinary. A girl caught in the golden glow of a superstar's secret world, oblivious to the shadows. But that girl vanished, erased and rebuilt into something sharper. Something lethal. I've returned with a new identity and a mission that leaves no room for the ghosts of my past. The target: Jay Hagaki. He's one of world's most famous musicians, and he's spent the past few years forgetting about the woman he lost. He thinks he's finally found his reunion. He doesn't realize he's found his executioner.I thought I understood my new life. I had already made peace with the past I'd uncovered. But as I hunt Jay through the tropical heat of the Bahamas, a new nightmare is clawing its way to the surface. Another life I never knew I lived, buried beneath the burning sands of Ancient Egypt. As the world spirals toward apocalypse, my memories are fracturing. Jay looks at me with a love that could melt the coldest heart, but my mission is clear. In a race against time and a history that is being rewritten with every step, I have to decide: Am I the woman he remembers, or the killer I've become?Time is running out. And some secrets are better left buried in the sand.
