Gilded Stars & Blades

My life is guided by Lady Fate's benevolent hand. Now, she's asking me to kill.I'm a vampire ruled by the omniscient goddess Fate, and my visions have brought me to the most feared castle in the fae realm... so that I may destroy their Master. But their wicked lord is always one step ahead, and he's locked me in a room with the one fae who truly hates me: Farrath, trapeze artist for the malevolent circus of the Lumière. The man who my goddess tells me is my fated enemy. If I want to succeed, then I'll need to pick up the knife and meet Lady Fate's challenges. But the more time I spend with Farrath, the more I realize his volatile temper hides a passion I've never imagined. A passion for life-and for me. He offers me a different way to live: a life where our paths aren't guided by destiny, but by our own choices. Am I brave enough to take it... or will he have to kill me first?
