Get Ready! the Day of Lord Is Near! - 2nd Edition

"Get Ready! The Day of the Lord is Near!" takes the reader from the beginning of civilization to the present age and identifies key inventions and events that allowed mankind to discover new opportunities to be more efficient and productive to advance civilization to this incredible age we live in today. Gerry identifies reasons we as believers need to be watching and waiting for the coming of "The Day of the Lord." His book will encourage believers to stand firm in their faith in anticipation of Christ's soon return to take His Church home. The stage is set for the coming world leader to rise to power. As we see the rise of wickedness and godlessness in our culture, we are simulating the days of Noah as Jesus said it would be before He returns (Luke 17:26). Jesus identified many warnings and signs that will take place before He returns. These signs continue to be revealed in "this generation." Will we open our eyes to see these signs or ignore them as they did in Noah's day? Gerry identifies the four components of Transhumanism - Nanotechnology, Genetics, Robotics and AI and breaks down how each of these new technologies in our generation will have a tremendous impact on how we live and what we do in the future. There are systems and forces present in our society today that the believer needs to be aware of as not to be deceived and turn away from God. In his latest book, Gerry breaks down what Jesus told His disciples on the Mount of Olives, as described in Matthew 24, what would be the signs of His return. You will discover how each of these signs have been increasing in frequency and intensity over this century. Gerry also answers questions believers generally express about the "Rapture" event to take believers from this present world to be with Him in His kingdom. The answers to these questions will encourage the believer to stand firm in their faith. He also demonstrates the role Israel plays in the coming events and how they are central to the unfolding of prophecy in our generation. The reader will clearly see how the foundation has been laid with these new global systems and technologies, to usher in what the Books of Daniel, Ezekiel and Revelation foretold about the coming world leader who will deceive the world and turn it upside down.
