Generational Curses

Generational Curses is an associate-level elective course designed to help students understand generational patterns, biblical language concerning blessings and curses, the finished work of Christ, freedom from condemnation, and responsible ministry application.This course examines generational curses through Scripture, covenant understanding, Christ-centered interpretation, New Creation identity, family patterns, spiritual freedom, discipleship, prayer, pastoral wisdom, and ministry responsibility.Students will learn that believers must not live under fear, fatalism, superstition, or condemnation. In Christ, the believer is redeemed, accepted, made righteous, and brought into the blessing of the New Covenant.At the same time, students will learn how unhealed patterns, repeated sins, family dysfunctions, destructive habits, wrong beliefs, trauma, and spiritual ignorance can affect families across generations. These patterns must be addressed with truth, wisdom, repentance where needed, renewal of the mind, pastoral care, discipleship, prayer, and the authority of Christ.The goal of this course is not to make students curse-conscious. The goal is to make students Christ-conscious, Scripture-grounded, and able to minister freedom with wisdom and grace.
