Friendship vs Hostility

This book is about healthy Christianity, not Fundamentalism. The Christian life is full of battles. Being aware that we will encounter difficulties, conflict, challenges, and battles means we are not into quick fixes. We need to cautiously tear down sin strongholds in our hearts and minds with the help of Jesus. Then to nurture the virtues, practicing the natural loves together with the supernatural loves as we follow Jesus in this life. Jesus makes many promises to each of us. He doesn't want us to be too comfortable in our sins. He wants us to seriously listen to Him and obey Him in all His teachings, preaching, and requests. He wants us to hold onto His promises. If we don't then we may forfeit them. This book calls us to focus on faith, hope, and love. To practice humility so that our pride does not defeat the faith, hope, and love that God has given us. This book gives healthy advice on how to grow a personal relationship with God.
