Frankenstein and the White Angel

Kuba Drutkiewicz, a talented young violinist from Ząbkowice Śląskie, goes through life's upheavals amid of musical successes and personal tragedies in communist Poland. In those times-the era of the Polish People's Republic-life was full of political tensions. His talent is discovered in childhood, leading him to study at a prestigious music school in Wroclaw. After numerous successes, including performances in West Berlin and Paris, his life takes an unexpected turn when unrest and pressure from the authorities lead to a decision to emigrate. He settles in Paris, where he establishes his career, and later moves to the United States. There, he records three albums, including one that combines the music of Krzysztof Komeda with the works of Vivaldi. His father's illness and longing for his loved ones force him to return home. Upon his return, he faces the grim political reality of Poland and becomes deeply involved in the Solidarity movement. Kuba creates music that expresses opposition to the communist regime. His tragic death in Warsaw-most likely a murder committed by the communist secret services-leaves behind unfulfilled dreams. In the background, there is also the mystery of Antonio Vivaldi's visit to Ząbkowice Śląskie, missing musical works, and Hitler's secret project in the Owl Mountains.
