A Cartesian gerontologist struggles with her father's last wishes, obliging her to accept the services of "Living Voice". But a pretentious charlatan who animates a group of spiritualism aficionados feels threatened by the cell phones buried in the cemetery next door. In the meantime, the naïve, soon to be retired, graveyard watchman, heartbroken at the idea of abandoning his dead friends, finds himself mixed up in a strange conspiracy. Questions remain throughout these extravagant yet plausible situations: in the end, will irrationality win out over reason? Can science forever remain safe inside its dogmas? Are the dead and the living irremediably separated and reduced to silence?
