Fly, Cole, Fly! Friends Color Together

Some of the best conversations with a child happen with a crayon in hand instead of a question in the air. Fly, Cole, Fly! Friends Color Together brings every beloved scene from the picture book series to life again, this time as a coloring book built for quiet, screen-free creative time. Featuring Cole, his friend Maya, and Blaze the dragon-kite from both Fly, Cole, Fly! and Fly, Cole, Fly! Fly Together, each page invites children to revisit a favorite moment from the story - the first flight, the wiggle break, the cool-down cave, the friendship that grew between two kids who understood each other in a way few others could - and make it entirely their own. Coloring is more than an activity to fill an afternoon. For many children, especially those who process big feelings more easily through their hands than their words, the simple act of choosing colors and staying inside (or joyfully outside) the lines offers a kind of calm that's hard to find anywhere else. This coloring book was designed with that in mind: generous, uncluttered line art, familiar characters that feel like old friends, and scenes drawn directly from a story about learning that a busy, fast-moving mind is something to be celebrated, not managed away. Parents, grandparents, and teachers will find this a natural companion to reading the original books aloud, whether used as a quiet follow-up activity after story time, a calming tool during a hard moment, or simply a joyful way to spend an afternoon with a child who loves Cole, Maya, and Blaze as much as their real-life friends. Designed for children ages 4 to 8, Fly, Cole, Fly! Friends Color Together completes the world built across the picture books and journal, giving kids one more way to sit with these characters, these lessons, and this particular kind of self-understanding, crayon by crayon, page by page. Not broken. Built to fly.
