Flight & Faith

Onesimus knows fear. Born into servitude near the edges of Colossae, he has spent his life measuring every step, every glance, every small mistake against the watchful eyes of masters and the unforgiving law. Yet even in the shadows of obedience, he has glimpsed something greater: mercy, hope, and the faint whisper of freedom. When a single act of carelessness threatens everything he holds dear, Onesimus makes a choice that will change his life forever - he runs. Alone, with nothing but a small bundle and a fragile hope, he leaves behind the only life he has ever known and steps into the uncertain streets of the Roman world.Guided only by tales of a man named Paul, who teaches that grace can outshine legalism, Onesimus must navigate danger, suspicion, and the harsh realities of a society ruled by imperial power. Along the way, he discovers that courage is not the absence of fear, and freedom is not simply escape - but the strength to carry hope in the face of every obstacle.A story of resilience, faith, and the enduring power of grace, Onesimus' journey will captivate readers who crave historical depth, moral struggle, and the triumph of the human spirit.
