Firewing

For a man who dreamed of a warrior's life, the reality of war and its aftermath has shattered what Puck envisioned for his future. Uncertain of El'Ohim, the Creator his Realm Walker brother steadfastly follows, and questioning everything he once thought true about himself, Puck grapples to reforge his identity. The only thing he knows for certain is that Ranele Firewing is unlike any woman he's ever met before and he's smitten...even if she does have a habit of dropping him from the sky and singeing him with her flame and ill temper. He isn't a fool, he knows she's hiding something, but whatever it is, surely his shoulders are broad enough to bear it?After three hundred years of captivity, the dragon shifter Ranele is finally free of her enchanted prison. With the race of dragon-kind now non-existent and her biggest mistake vanquished, it appears her dark secrets are safe, but as her relationship with the Realm Walker's handsome, quick-witted brother grows, she realizes that guilt and shame are not so easily absolved. When danger finds those she's growing to love, Ranele knows her links to Zakar must be revealed...even if it means losing everyone that's become dear to her.As darkness rises to reclaim Ranele, can one man's love and courage and her Creator's grace give her the strength to finally right an ancient wrong? With battle lines forming, time is not on her side.
