Find Me in Your Memory

In Raplend, where memory bleeds into commodity, memory tracker Ro-A Yoon knows that nothing is meant to last. Between over-the-counter recollections sold as new leases on life and extractions that drain the lifeless to preserve the living, Ro-A distracts herself from a truth she cannot escape: the memories she handles will never belong to her. And perhaps, once, they did-in the five years she no longer remembers. The locket resting against her throat and the photograph tucked inside are the only things she has left to hold onto, reminders chaining her to what she cannot remember yet cannot ignore. But when Ro-A is assigned the task of tracking down a missing person instead of a memory, the target is none other than the woman in her locket: Rohan Jung, the sole trace to her forgotten past. Alongside her are four others:Haneul, who escapes into worlds he wishes were reality, knowing he can never hold them.Somang, who sees and hears deeper than anyone yet is never seen nor heard. Yoon, who struggles to fill in the shoes of the father whose words he engraved in his heart but never thought to question. And Jiyoon, who wears her heart on her sleeve, doubting what she feels but never what she remembers. Find Me in Your Memory tells the story of five adolescents, each burdened by longing, grief, and the fear of falling apart as they set out to find Rohan-and perhaps themselves-in a world where memory is painfully unreliable yet impossible to escape, clinging to the fragile thread of human connection.
