Bol From the crowded row houses of Brooklyn to the front lines of a booming industry, A Field of Blue Dreams is the true story of a woman who refused to be defined by where she started. Raised in a large, blended Trinidadian-American family, she grew up between two worlds: a mother working her way through nursing school, and East New York streets where gunfire was background noise. She lost her father to sudden illness, nearly lost a brother to violence, and became a single mother determined to give her children more than she ever had. A teacher for a decade, she walked away from the classroom during the pandemic to build a cannabis business from scratch, eventually opening her own dispensary and becoming a respected voice for women and mothers in a male-dominated industry. This is a story of grief, grit, and reinvention, and proof that a new beginning is always possible.
