Febrile Seizures are not often spoken about. We need more awareness of febrile seizures. Most people have never heard of them until their child experiences one. If you are in this category, I know how you feel. Your world has just been turned upside down, and your head is spinning. My daughter had her first febrile seizure in 2022. I have compiled everything I have learned and tips to make me feel prepared for sickness and the possibility of another febrile seizure. It never gets easy, but I have found ways to ease my anxiety. I have done a lot of research, advocated for my daughter's testing, and inquired with other parents of children with febrile seizures to figure out and find anything that can help our situation. For me, I always seem to find common questions and concerns among these parents. Putting together a book with all of this information and making it readily available to everyone was my goal. I know firsthand how gut-wrenching febrile seizures are and how they can impact everyday life.
