Fallen Trees: A Poetry Collection

Fallen Trees is a collection of poetry written in response to the moments that shape us. The collection moves through a wide range of emotions and experiences. Experiences with love, loss and lust; anger and grief, humor, beauty of life and nature, and rare quiet contemplation in-between. Fallen Trees is rooted in the cycle of the Four Seasons, Chapters reflect what each season evokes or reveals. Winter confronts cold truths: deceit, betrayal, fear. The cold, dark edge of despair. Spring opens into the first signs of bloom. Themes of renewal, growth, regeneration and hope. The promise of new beginnings. Summer moves with heat, desire, love, lust and the sweat of being alive. Fall turns outward toward social commentary, political observation, and unfiltered opinion.
