The title Grandpa is a bestowed on the family keeper of the wisdom, of conflicts, of preservation of wealth and protector of the bloodline. He has been all but de-throned and tossed aside, and it has happened in less than a decade. While we are still reeling from the single parent home, one more of the key pillars of familial foundation has been undermined. Someone else is raising your children during the day, during the night and during the holidays.
