Fading Glory: One Boomer's Tale: A Tale

This is a tale of the life of a baby boomer from Cleveland, Ohio, moving to Central Florida during the post-Disney boom years. He begins by exposing the roots of a convoluted family tree, leaving the confines or small town life to head south to Miami. Follow the author as he alters his career choices from the stoic and safe field of Human Resources to the ever-changing life of a publishing entrepreneur from the mid-80s to 2000s, navigating the pitfalls of re-creating himself and his company during the transition from traditional publishing to digital production to finally succumbing to the Internet's slow destruction of his industry. The 2020 CoronaVirus crisis serves as a backdrop to being the motivation for the author to create this memoir, with personal asides to surviving this pandemic in a red state. A must read for those who reminisce about growing up in Central Florida or who got the itch to become their own boss.
