Expressive languages and teacher training for early childhood education

Many studies have looked at teacher training for early childhood education, concerned with the quality of the activities carried out with children in early childhood. These activities, which are carried out using different educational languages, especially expressive languages derived from the arts, are necessary for the child's all-round development. This book presents research that aims to understand whether the Curriculum Proposal of a Pedagogy Course, with regard to the training of Early Childhood Education teachers, develops specific content and methodologies linked to the expressive languages of the arts, whether it contemplates the legal resolutions of the 2009 National Curriculum Guidelines for Early Childhood Education and the 2006 National Curriculum Guidelines for Pedagogy Courses.
