Exploring the Hidden People

In the windswept landscapes of Iceland, where lava fields twist like frozen waves and waterfalls crash into mist, ancient stories still breathe. Here, belief in elves, or huldufólk (hidden people), lingers not just as myth but as lived experience. But are elves mythology, faith, fantasy, or something else entirely? Are they angels in disguise, ancestral spirits, or the last memory of an extinct species that once walked alongside humans? This book delves deep into the fragile border between belief and doubt, folklore and reality, inviting readers to question not only the existence of elves but the very nature of the unseen world. With vivid storytelling, raw encounters, and an investigative spirit, The Elven Faith of Iceland is both a travelogue and a meditation on mystery - an exploration of what endures in the human imagination when modernity says it should not.
