Exped Ultra 8R Sleeping mat

The Exped Ultra 8R is a lightweight, compact sleeping mat engineered for fast, self-powered use in cold environments, such as winter backpacking and snowshoeing. It delivers a high level of thermal performance and sleeping comfort while keeping weight and pack size to a minimum, making it well suited for winter camping.The mat features the new EXPED SYNMAT PLUS TECHNOLOGY™: recycled synthetic microfiber insulation is combined with reflective foil and laminated to the top and bottom of the air channels to maximize thermal efficiency. The foil is suspended so it does not rustle or creak when you change position.The Comfort Cradle™ construction with slightly raised outer tubes keeps the sleeper centered on the mat and improves lateral stability. Two flat, low-profile valves separate inflation and deflation, limiting wear on the groundsheet; the inflation valve incorporates a non-return function to prevent air loss during filling. The Ultra 8R is supplied with an Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag UL M for rapid, moisture-free inflation, which also serves as a lightweight, waterproof stuff sack.
