Evil Stronger Than Blood Ties

On the east coast of Canada, a battle over her grandfather's estate turns into a battle for her life when Haley Hickey is shot at through her kitchen window. Haunted by a patient and malicious stalker, Haley finds her life crumbling around her and flees to the only place she's ever really felt safe: her Grampy's old cabin up in the mountains. As she tries to come to terms with her grief, rejuvenate the homestead and help manage the woodlot her Grampy left her, the stalker moves in closer. Somehow, they always seem to be able to get at her, no matter how many locked doors, defensive dogs, and sturdy walls are in the way. An old flame steps up to protect her, and a lone officer tries to untangle the trail as the stalker's threats become mental torture. But all the support and protection in the world is meaningless when the person who has it out for Haley turns out to be closer to her than anyone had guessed...
